Job summary

Tucson Unified School District seeks a skilled maintenance technician to install, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, floor covering, mechanical, fixtures and the building structure within Rincon High School. This is a 1.0 FTE, 8-hour-per-day, 12-month position.

The role requires four years of cross-trade experience and strong English communication skills. A Universal CFC Technician Certification is preferred and a background check is mandatory prior to starting

Qualifications

• Four years of experience across HVAC/Refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, floor covering, mechanical, fixtures and the physical structure within a high school operation.
