Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in school buildings (non-structural repairs, windows/doors/walls).
• Repair plumbing to prevent water damage and restore water fixtures.
• Repair damaged electrical wiring as needed.
• Maintain HVAC equipment to ensure climate control.
• Assist with preventative measures to reduce future issues.
• Paint rooms when needed to refresh appearance.
• Address safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Sanitize and wipe surfaces (door handles, railings, etc.).
• Handle additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
