Job summary

Citizens of the World Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated School Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. The role involves routine cleaning, restrooms, floors, windows, and exterior areas, with a focus on safety and adherence to protocols.

You will work as part of the School Operations Team under the School Operations Manager, coordinating with administrators and other custodial staff to meet daily schedules and special event setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining school facilities is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Good organizational skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and exterior areas.
• Empty trash and recycling; keep grounds free of litter and debris.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; respond promptly to spills and emergencies.
• Strip, wax, and polish floors; operate floor cleaning equipment as needed.
• Assist with minor maintenance and report safety issues to the Operations Manager.
• Provide setup assistance during events and meetings as directed by school administrators.
