Job summary

BASIS Benbrook is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to start ASAP. The role involves repairs of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and safety systems, coordinating vendors, and supporting school events on campus.

You will act as campus safety manager and maintain emergency preparedness programs. Applicants should have a high school diploma (bachelors preferred), 2+ years in facilities, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid fingerprint clearance or satisfactory state background check.
• 2+ years facilities & building maintenance experience.
• Ability to make quick facilities-related decisions.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
• Adaptable to change and flexible in duties.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Repairs of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems.
• Responds to staff requests for maintenance and custodial needs.
• Coordinates third-party vendors for maintenance and services.
• Maintains grounds, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Assess and repair maintenance issues as they arise.
• Maintain file on work orders and proposals.
• Support school events with equipment and setup.
• Acts as campus safety manager for traffic and emergencies.
• Maintain Emergency preparedness program.
• Support Head of Operations on other projects and tasks.
