Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional certifications (FMP/CFM) valued.
• 3+ years of facilities coordination experience, preferably in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Schedule and coordinate third-party vendors; monitor preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to meet high standards of appearance, safety, and function.
• Ensure facilities meet regulatory health, safety, and environmental standards; maintain compliance records.
• Serve as key contact for emergency facility issues and participate in emergency planning.
• Solicit bids and manage vendor relationships for facilities services (landscaping, HVAC, janitorial).
• Manage small-scale renovations and projects, coordinating timelines and budgets.
• Oversee facility work orders and prioritize requests for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support event logistics and space use.
• Identify initiatives to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency.
