Job summary

E.L. Haynes Public Charter School in Washington, DC is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support daily operations, with regular hours 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role reports to the Middle School Operations Manager and will handle tasks from cleaning shared spaces to coordinating with cleaners, maintaining licenses, and assisting with events across campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or operations is preferred.
• Ability to perform light repairs and cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Manager with daily tasks including, but not limited to, shared space cleaning, small repairs, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date Food Handlers License.
• Maintain grounds as needed.
• Work with contracted evening cleaners, operations managers, and other facilities staff to ensure a proper inventory of supplies.
• Ensure that school gymnasium is cleaned/dusted weekly and as necessary.
• Ensure that bathrooms are cleaned throughout the day, and free of graffiti.
• Prepare for evening events at all campuses as needed, including taking out trash from common spaces, spot cleaning bathrooms, furniture setup, etc.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
