Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Certificate/licensed skilled maintenance preferred for commercial plumbing repairs.
• Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, email, internet).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Idaho driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, painting, grounds) to keep facilities in safe, operable condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial piping, kitchen fixtures, drainage systems.
• Test and maintain emergency equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Follow supervisor instructions and work routines; minimize disruption to educational process.
• Maintain safe, efficient operation of the physical plant and tools inventory.
• Operate maintenance vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
• Be on call for emergencies and after-hours needs.
• Follow district policy and chain of command.
• Interact positively with students, parents, staff, and others.
• Act ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.
