Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a dedicated janitorial and maintenance professional to support our Oregon facilities. You will perform cleaning, light repairs, and upkeep to maintain a safe, healthy environment for staff and children.

Responsibilities include sanitation of classrooms, trash removal, exterior upkeep, and adherence to OSHA safety practices. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of coursework

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required with 1 year experience in industrial cleaning, maintenance and repair.
Alternative: technical coursework or 2+ years of maintenance/janitorial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Maintain interior by cleaning furniture, surfaces, floors and fixtures to ensure a sanitary environment.
Perform and assist with repairs and light maintenance as needed for safety.
Keep exterior areas clean: entryways, walkways, parking lot, landscaping.
Assist with safety plans, drills and incident reporting per OSHA/MSDS guidelines.
Support team meetings and prepare spaces for events and activities.
Manage supplies and equipment, order replacements, and track inventory.
