Job summary

Bisbee Unified District #2 is hiring a Maintenance/Grounds worker to maintain school buildings, grounds, and systems to ensure a safe, clean environment for students and staff in Bisbee, AZ.

The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry tasks, routine repairs, and housekeeping. Candidates should be able to diagnose issues, document work, and support events, with a high school diploma and custodial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year custodial experience in educational setting preferred.
• Experience and/or training in repair, maintenance, re-building and construction of buildings and operating systems.
• Must possess valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that meets minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school buildings, grounds, and systems for a safe environment.
• Operate/repair electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, carpentry.
• Diagnose operation problems and provide remedies.
• Keep area clean and maintain grounds, sidewalks, entryways.
• Close and lock windows/doors in assigned area.
• Maintain accurate job records.
• Assist with athletic and activity events.
• Comply with Governing Board rules and policies.
