Job summary

Oak Hall School in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Assistant Director of Buildings and Grounds to oversee maintenance, repair and upkeep of school facilities. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or related position required.
• Plumbing, HVAC, or electrical experience and/or certification required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Experience using power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform light electrical work as needed.
• Supervise and perform plumbing repairs and/or maintenance as needed.
• Paint surfaces and signage; perform carpentry and HVAC repairs as required.
• Maintain grounds including mowing, edging and weed control.
• Set up furniture for events and assist with off-site setups.
• Operate grounds machinery and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Provide school-wide customer service with a positive attitude.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
