Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a Part-time Day Porter/Event Setup Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety of a school facility and to support setup, breakdown and custodial tasks for events, meals and daily activities.

The role requires reliable attendance, ability to work independently and with a team, and experience with basic cleaning routines and event setup. Willingness to follow safety procedures and use PPE is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness, safety and daily readiness of the school facility.
• Performs continuous cleaning and touch-up services throughout the school day.
• Cleans restrooms, replenishes supplies, and maintains fixtures, floors and surfaces.
• Assists with setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, podiums, barricades, and equipment for events.
• Prepares cafeterias, gymnasiums, classrooms and meeting spaces for events and activities.
• Monitors event areas and performs post-event cleanup and storage of equipment.
