Qualifications

• Requires a vocational diploma and four years of electrical repair experience or an equivalent combination.
• Must possess a valid SC driver's license and be licensed as a Certified Electrician (Journeyman).
• Candidate should have the ability to supervise apprentices and tradesworkers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, codes and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Inspects systems to identify hazards and defects needing repair.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools.
• Supervises apprentices and tradesworkers and plans assignments.
• Responds to after-hours emergency calls.
• Maintains records and reports such as work orders and blueprints.
