Job summary

Mansfield City Schools is seeking substitute custodians to support district buildings as assigned by the Facilities Manager. The role involves general cleaning, maintenance, and assisting in keeping spaces safe and welcoming for students, staff and visitors.

Duties include cleaning rooms, hallways and restrooms, maintaining floors, handling supplies, and assisting with setup for events. Occasional travel between buildings may be required; candidates should be dependable and able to follow

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in building/cleaning maintenance desirable.
• Ohio Driver's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas to district standards.
• Sweeps, mops, waxes floors and cleans carpets.
• Washes walls, windows, and other surfaces; removes graffiti and cleans glass areas.
• Replaces light bulbs and assists in set-up/teardown of chairs, tables and equipment for meetings.
• Delivers supplies and assists with unloading and stocking in classrooms and other areas.
• Performs snow removal and groundskeeping duties; follows safety procedures.
