Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintenance, training, and experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ability to provide a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient educational facility.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and premises neat and clean at all times.
• Checks daily that exit doors and panic bolts function during occupancy.
• Sweeps classrooms daily and dusts furniture.
• Cleans corridors after school and as needed during the day.
• Scrubs and disinfects toilets, floors, and drinking fountains.
• Washes windows on inside and outside as necessary.
• Keeps grounds free from rubbish.
• Notifies principal of major repairs; reports damages to school property.
• Open/close building each school day and ensure doors/windows are secured.
• Moves furniture or equipment as directed by the principal.
