Job summary

Auxilio is seeking a reliable Custodian to support daily cleaning, upkeep, and minor maintenance at a school facility. You will keep classrooms, common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces clean and safe while following district policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include trash removal, floor care, window washing, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to management. A high school diploma and valid driver license are preferred, with background checks and safety awareness key to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver License preferred.
• Minimum 3 months of cleaning experience preferred.
• Subject to Background Check and Drug Screen.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
• Ability to cooperate with other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas daily; clean furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, lockers, glass, display cases, partitions, light fixtures, floor mats and runners.
• Keeps building and premises neat and clean at all times.
• Shovels and salts outdoor walkways and steps as appropriate.
• Scrub, mop and disinfect toilets and lunchroom floors daily; clean sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.
• Wash windows inside and outside as necessary.
• Provide regular trash removal; empty trash cans daily.
• Aid in minor building repairs such as replacing light bulbs and report major repairs to management.
• Close the building; secure doors/windows and turn off unnecessary lights.
• Vacuums and cleans carpets and upholstery; spot clean stains.
• Move and arrange furnishings, supplies, and equipment as directed.
• Inform management about workplace concerns and supply needs.
• Follow MSDS instructions and safety guidelines.
