Qualifications

• No experience is required; training will be provided.
• Experience in janitorial or related custodial work is helpful.
• Grounds maintenance or general labor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop floors, hallways, stairways, and classrooms.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, windows, and woodwork.
• Disinfect restrooms and wash basins; clean water fountains.
• Maintain and move supplies; assist with loading and unloading.
• Perform basic repairs to doors, windows, lighting and related equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishers, and shampoo machines.
• Assist in grounds tasks: watering, mowing and trimming shrubs.
• Assist in inventory and procurement of janitorial supplies.
