Job summary

Upper Arlington City Schools is seeking an Educational Aide at Jones Middle School in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities

• Supervise cafeteria, classrooms, computer facilities during teacher absence.
• Monitor student behavior and refer to principal when needed.
• Resolve minor student conflicts and refer as appropriate.
• Operate copy machine and laminating equipment to prepare materials.
• Assist with audio-visual equipment used for instruction.
• Work with small groups or individuals to reinforce or extend learning.
• Help arrange field trips and schedule parent volunteers.
• Maintain student records by organizing and entering data.
• Contact parents to schedule appointments and gather information.
• Assist in scheduling spaces or services.
