Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Education Technician II for a contract - full-time role in Old Orchard Beach, ME. The position supports students with special needs in a school setting, working 35 hours per week at $27 per hour.

You will collaborate with teachers and behavior specialists to help achieve learning and behavioral goals, requiring a High School diploma, pediatric experience, CPR if applicable, and compliance with applicable federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
