Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a Warehouse Driver to support the Food and Nutrition Services warehouse operation district-wide. You will unload deliveries, store items, pick orders, build pallets, and deliver bakery, produce, and warehouse products to schools, ensuring correct storage and temperatures.

The position requires a CDL Class B within 6 months, a clean driving record, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of professional work experience preferred.
• CDL Class B license must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must pass the DOT physical and meet insurability requirements.
• Good driving record is required.
• Basic knowledge of computers, scanners, radios, and phones.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Ability to work independently or with others and handle interruptions.
• Ability to operate safe warehouse equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and supplies to multiple schools daily with proper temperature checks.
• Scan items and ensure accurate inventory at schools and warehouse.
• Process next-day orders and build pallets for dry, cooler, and freezer items.
• Move product within warehouse using FIFO to ensure freshness and reduce loss.
• Maintain safety with equipment, daily temperature control checks, and training compliance.
• Receive and inspect inbound products to ensure correct temperatures.
• Assist with additional deliveries during breaks or summer sessions.
• Reconcile missing or damaged items and restock as needed.
• Help with cleaning and maintenance of coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
• Inspect forklifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles and report maintenance needs.
• Complete monthly inventory of all storage locations.
