Job summary

Granbury ISD in Granbury, TX seeks a Public School Warehouse & Fixed Asset Technician to manage district instructional materials and capital assets. The role ensures efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory tracking, and compliance with state and local policies, including surplus disposal and public auctions.

You will support campuses by organizing storage, coordinating deliveries, tagging assets, auditing inventories, and assisting with repairs and moves of school furnishings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift; certification may be required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, and store instructional materials.
• Maintain organized warehouse layout and accurate inventory.
• Coordinate timely distribution of materials to campuses.
• Tag and catalog fixed assets; conduct asset audits.
• Coordinate surplus item processing and asset disposals.
• Provide excellent customer service to campuses and vendors.
