Job summary

The Goddard School in Marlboro Township, NJ is seeking a proactive School Director to oversee daily operations and support a team of educators. You will ensure a high-quality learning environment for children and families while upholding brand standards and licensing requirements.

As Director, you will lead staff development, implement our Wonder of Learning curriculum, and strengthen school-family-community relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECE, Child Development, Education, or related field.
• At least 3 years teaching in early childhood education and 1+ year in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality education.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations while upholding brand, regulatory and policy standards.
• Hire, train, supervise and support staff to build a positive, collaborative team.
• Deliver our Wonder of Learning program, designed to spark curiosity and growth.
• Build strong relationships with families and promote the School in the community.
• Manage the budget, enrollment and resources for operational success.
• Maintain a safe, clean and prepared environment for children, staff and visitors.
