Compass Group USA unit Chartwells K-12 is hiring a FOOD UNIT LEAD for the Marlborough, CT location. The role operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, with prior culinary experience in K-12 environments being a plus.

The position offers a full-time schedule with a fixed pay rate of $18.50 per hour and an internal employee referral bonus. The FOOD UNIT LEAD coordinates and supervises food-service staff, ensures quality service, and maintains safety and sanitation standards per policy.

Qualifications

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Oversees preparation and service of food/beverage per company standards.
• Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work for efficiency.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules and expedites workflow.
• Handles daily/weekly/monthly reports and cash handling as per policy.
