Job summary

Compass Group USA at the Oshkosh area schools is seeking a FOOD UNIT LEAD to manage a dining operation with an early morning schedule. The role involves supervising food-service staff, ensuring quality service, and maintaining high sanitation and safety standards.

The position offers a full-time schedule (6:15 am–2:45 pm), with a pay range of $23.00–$25.00 per hour and benefits typical for Chartwells K12 associates.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of other food-service staff.
• Provide quality customer service and attentive service to customers.
• Oversee food preparation and service to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and supervise serving of meals.
• Train employees; assign and coordinate work to promote efficiency and excellence.
• Maintain required daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, timekeeping) and cash handling.
