Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining at Chatham Day School, NJ, is seeking a part-time dishwasher. Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in orderly and sanitary condition, with emphasis on safety and cleanliness. Previous dishwashing experience is required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 2:30 pm. Fixed pay rate: $17.00 per hour. Free meals and uniforms provided at select locations; comprehensive benefits for associates.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience required.
• Part-time schedule with weekday availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; polishes silver as required; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area orderly and sanitized; sweeps and mops kitchen floors; assists with loading/unloading supplies.
