Job summary

Compass Group USA in New Jersey is seeking a part-time DISHWASHER. Location is Chatham Day School, 700 Shunpike Road, Chatham, NJ. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–2:30 pm. Previous dishwashing experience is required; internal referrals encouraged.

Position offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour with benefits typical for part-time roles. Applicants should be able to maintain sanitation standards and assist in foodservice operations as needed.

• Previous dishwashing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas and utensils in sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and loads/unloads into dishwashing equipment.
• Polishes silverware and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Wipes and sanitizes work surfaces and floors; handles waste properly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
