Elior School Dining is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to lead the Athens, TX dining program for the Athens Public Schools. You will oversee all aspects of the food service department, manage a skilled team, and ensure meals meet NSLP guidelines while maintaining exceptional client and student satisfaction.

Responsibilities include budgeting, procurement, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least two years coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment with client focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Prepare and manage department budgets, purchasing ingredients, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with district management on dining service operations.
