Job summary

Elior School Dining in Athens, TX is seeking a results-driven Food Service Director to lead a school dining program within Athens Public Schools. You will supervise a team of food service staff, ensure meals are prepared safely, and manage the department's operations to deliver reliable service.

This role requires coordinating with district leadership, budgeting, inventory, and compliance with culinary and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.
• ServSafe and/or HACCP certification

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service director to our Elior School Dining team in Athens, TX. As a food service director, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal.
