Job summary

FISD is hiring for a full-time COOK position at Bishop Stang, 500 Slocum Road, North Dartmouth, MA 02747. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. Prior cooking experience is required, ServSafe certificate preferred.

Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, with free meals and uniforms/laundering available at select locations. We offer benefits typical of Compass Group's FISD program, including diverse meal options and a commitment to nutritious school dining.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required.
• ServSafe certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper temperature and presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high standards of cleanliness.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; stores items per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
