Job summary

The Fay School in Southborough, MA is hiring a full-time cook. Prior scratch cooking and hospitality experience are required; the schedule is Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, with hours that may vary.

Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Free meals, uniforms and laundering service are provided at select locations. Compass Group USA, through Flik Independent School Dining, delivers wholesome meals and education-driven dining experiences to students and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous scratch cooking experience required.
• Hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and schedules.
• Serves meals with proper portioning and serving temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Follows HACCP standards and reports maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Collaborates with team to ensure safe, efficient kitchen operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
