Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, experience in custodial/maintenance.
• Good mechanical aptitude and heating & ventilation experience.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, interpersonal skills and independent judgment.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to use technology effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior custodial duties maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, orderliness and safety.
• Notify supervisors concerning repairs.
• Take direction from head custodian/supervisor verbally or in writing.
• Support curricular and extracurricular events and activities.
• Assist visitors using the facilities.
• On-call for emergency repairs, equipment monitoring, overtime or other custodial needs outside normal hours, including weekends.
