Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Hazardous chemical training completed.
• Meet health requirements as per state and Henry County Board.
• Knowledge of custodial methods and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor and follow written/oral directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial activities to keep buildings, locker rooms and grounds clean, orderly and secure.
• Clean classrooms, restrooms, gym, cafeteria and offices; monitor spaces and report issues.
• Operate vacuums, floor machines, buffers and other cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Report safety, sanitary and maintenance concerns to supervisor; maintain security of facilities.
• Participate in major summer cleaning projects and follow school master plans.
