Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet criminal record check requirements as per Kentucky law.
• Must meet health requirements per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial tasks at assigned school site to keep buildings and grounds clean, safe and orderly.
• Clean classrooms, restrooms, gym, cafeteria and offices; mop, wax, vacuum and strip floors as needed.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance needs to supervisor; maintain security of buildings.
• Move furniture and equipment for events and prepare rooms for activities when required.
• Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor scrubber, polisher, etc.) and follow safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergency cleanups and assist with summer cleaning projects.
