Roaring Fork School District seeks a dedicated custodian at Basalt High School to perform a full range of cleaning, maintenance, and safety-related duties in support of daily school operations.

Responsibilities include restroom sanitation, floor care, equipment upkeep, and assisting with special events. Ability to work independent of supervision and to handle physical tasks is essential; experience in cleaning and a willingness to adapt to seasonal demands are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods, procedures and techniques used in custodial work.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, supplies and equipment.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.

Responsabilités

• Clean, disinfect and deodorize restrooms and fixtures and replenish supplies.
• Clean and sanitize drinking fountains.
• Clean, sanitize and deodorize cafeteria or common areas where students eat.
• Empty and clean waste receptacles.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.
• Identify and correct building safety hazards.
• Secure facilities after hours.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors; move furniture as needed.
• Maintain custodial equipment in good working order.
• Assist in deep cleaning during breaks and snow removal as needed.
