Job summary

PRODIGY ELC AT WINTHROP LLC is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities across classrooms, hallways, offices and common areas on-site. You will also assist with cafeteria cleaning, waste removal, window cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by the Preschool Director.

The role requires physical work, adherence to OSHA safety procedures, and the ability to stay on campus for the workday, including lunch and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial trades.
• Ability to use custodial supplies and chemicals safely.
• Familiarity with OSHA and local building/fire codes.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior areas: hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and multi-purpose room.
• Clean exterior areas including perimeter, parking lot, windows.
• Empty trash from all receptacles.
• Sterilize restrooms and high-use areas to reduce bacteria.
• Assist with cafeteria cleaning and maintenance of floors.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and school policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Preschool Director.
