Job summary

Lebanon School District is seeking a Custodian (Day/Night) for the Lebanon, MO area. The mid-shift role runs 10:00 am–6:30 pm, covering daytime and evening needs; starting date is immediate and the position is full-time in the Maintenance department.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms; regulating HVAC for energy efficiency; reporting repairs; opening/closing the building; and ensuring a safe, orderly environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and grounds clean and orderly daily.
• Regulates heating, ventilation and air conditioning as needed.
• Checks exit doors and safety devices during occupancy.
• Cleans classrooms, lunchrooms, corridors and disinfects surfaces.
• Performs minor repairs and reports larger repairs promptly.
• Open and close the building and secure doors and windows.
