Responsibilities include daily cleaning of shared spaces, trash disposal, equipment setup for events, and secure building after hours. The position requires physical stamina and a proactive approach to safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in schools or urban communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintenance of classrooms, hallways, and shared spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash, dispose waste, and replenish supplies.
• Lock doors and windows, monitor safety and security.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with operations for events and furniture setup.
• Monitor HVAC systems and report issues.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Follow safety protocols and respond to emergencies.
