Responsibilities

• Maintain the school facility in proper operating condition including cleaning, disinfecting and safety.
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, wax and buff according to schedule.
• Be alert to safety conditions and report unsafe conditions.
• Move furniture and equipment as required by supervisor.
• Keep custodial supply areas neat and stocked with essentials.
• Secure and lock all entrances to buildings.
• Open/building operations and routines as applicable; raise and lower flags.
• Attend custodial training and safety meetings.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Comply with Hazard Communication Program and district policies.
