Job summary

Clayton County Public Schools’ NORTHCUTT ELEMENTARY in Atlanta, GA seeks a Custodian II (School-Based) for a 12-month, full-time role starting immediately. You will clean classrooms, restrooms, offices and dining areas; operate custodial equipment; and assist with event setups.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, English fluency, and at least one year of commercial cleaning experience. The position is Grade 13, 225 days, with pay from $16.79 to $17.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in commercial facility cleaning preferred (1+ year).
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Cleans classrooms, restrooms, offices, and dining areas.
• Mops floors, vacuums, strips, buffs and wax floors, and empties trash.
• Cleans windows and changes light bulbs, replaces ceiling tiles as needed.
• Sets up/breaks down for events and maintains custodial closet.
• Performs other duties as assigned and required.
