Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, equipment and procedures.
• Ability to perform custodial duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to move light loads and climb ladders.
• Ability to serve building users courteously.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors; vacuums rugs and carpets.
• Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Empties wastebaskets and removes trash.
• Washes walls, windows, and boards; dusts furniture.
• Moves and sets up furniture for events or cleaning.
• Operates custodial equipment like vacuums, scrubbers, polishers.
• Performs seasonal snow/ice removal and applies salt/sand.
• Locks/unlocks doors and reports safety hazards.
