Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a dependable custodian to support students, teachers, and staff by performing cleaning and basic maintenance throughout the school facilities. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove garbage, assist with grounds care and security tasks after hours, and help ensure a safe, clean learning environment for all.

The role requires punctuality, the ability to follow directions, and willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Operate basic cleaning equipment including buffers, extractors and auto scrubbers.
• Basic reading and math skills required.
• One year of custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance of school and district buildings.
• Clean restrooms, offices, classrooms, and hallways.
• Mop floors or operate auto scrubber; extract carpets and bonnet surfaces.
• Assist in floor refinishing and minor repairs to equipment.
• Restock soap, towels and other dispensers; handle garbage.
• Lock/unlock doors and contribute to building security after hours.
