Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Nebraska driver’s license.
• Experience in custodial work is desirable.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness in assigned areas/building.
• Operates vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and floor scrubbers.
• Uses and stores district cleaning chemicals safely.
• Reports maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Assists in snow and ice removal as required.
• Maintains building security and responds to requests from administrators.
