Job summary

Bristol Tennessee City Schools Facility Maintenance Office is seeking full-time Cleaning Technicians to maintain classroom, restroom, cafeteria, gym and office cleanliness across multiple school locations. Salary is state-scheduled; positions include benefits.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restocking supplies, operating floor machines, and assisting with minor maintenance. Reports to the Cleaning Coordinator. Requires HS diploma and valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must be able to use work order system software as needed.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming and restroom cleaning.
• Restock paper towels and soap; empty trash; maintain clean classrooms and common areas.
• Move furniture as needed; operate auto-scrubber as scheduled.
• Inspect and report maintenance needs; assist with minor building tasks.
