Job summary

Franklin County High School is hiring a custodian to perform custodial work for the care, maintenance, protection, and preservation of the school’s buildings and grounds. The role reports to the Principal and is classified as exempt with a 250 day/7.5 hour work schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, stairs, gymnasiums, cafeteria areas, and performing minor repairs as needed. Candidates need at least six months of custodial experience and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• Six months relevant custodial experience.
• Knowledge of general custodial work methods and safety.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms and halls; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of classrooms, restrooms, hallways and gym areas.
• Notify principal of repair needs and supply requirements.
