Job summary

KinderCare Education is hiring a School Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children across our centers. You will perform a wide range of custodial duties, ensuring classrooms, floors, restrooms, and hallways are pristine and safe for daily activities.

We offer competitive hourly pay in Minnesota, with an extra $3.00 per hour premium for classroom hours. Benefits include discounted child care, health coverage, wellness programs, paid time off, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• At least one year of janitorial experience or equivalent combination of experience/education.
• Work safely with chemicals, cleaning materials, dust and noise.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning classrooms, floors, restrooms, and hallways.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use designated chemicals safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Collect and dispose of garbage according to KinderCare’s waste removal and recycling policies.
