Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a School Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children at our centers. You will perform cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and safely manage waste and janitorial supplies in a busy child care setting.

This role requires basic janitorial experience, ability to follow directions, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. English communication with children and parents is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of janitorial experience or an equivalent mix of experience/education.
• Able to work safely around chemicals and cleaning materials.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Capable of transporting supplies between rooms and performing physical tasks.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and move about areas.
• Must communicate with children and parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of classrooms, floors, restrooms, and hallways.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely per instructions.
• Collect and dispose of garbage according to policies.
