KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a School Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment for children. You will clean classrooms, floors, restrooms, and hallways, operate cleaning equipment safely, and dispose of waste per policies.

The role requires at least one year of janitorial experience and the ability to follow written and verbal directions. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a dynamic setting, and communicate effectively in English with children

Qualifications

• At least one year of janitorial experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, dust, and noise.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to transport products and equipment from room to room.
• Perform physical activities, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and walking.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties such as cleaning classrooms, floors, restrooms, and hallways.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use approved chemicals safely according to instructions.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and waste following policies.
