Job summary

Lincoln Savage Middle School is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment for students and staff. The role supports daily cleaning tasks, ensures sanitary facilities, and helps with minor maintenance as required.

The position is full-time, ordinarily 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, 260 days per year, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and retirement contributions. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment used in school housekeeping.
• Ability to use cleaning materials safely on different surfaces.
• Skill in using electrical and hand cleaning appliances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of Lincoln Savage Middle School facilities.
• Follow established routines and schedules for daily cleaning tasks.
• Assist in minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Communicate with staff and students to ensure a clean learning environment.
