Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a Custodian at Innovations High School to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment. This role involves cleaning floors, restrooms and surfaces, securing areas, and assisting with event setups during various shifts.

Responsibilities include minor maintenance tasks, moving furniture, and reporting repairs. Employment is at the district site with opportunities for growth and a competitive benefits package. Training and safety guidelines are provided.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience demonstrating reliability and good work habits.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, methods and equipment; ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical work and work under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors and clean restrooms, walls and surfaces.
• Move furniture and set up rooms or auditoriums for events; ensure doors/windows are secured.
• May perform minor maintenance such as painting small areas or replacing lights; report needed repairs.
