Qualifications

• Ability to follow simple oral and written directions.
• Some skill in the use of small cleaning equipment.
• Some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and dusting.
• Assist in moving or arranging furniture.
• Wash windows, walls, and other surfaces when needed.
• Replenish tissue, towels, and soap in restrooms, kitchens, and classrooms.
• Empty waste baskets and other trash receptacles.
• Lock and unlock doors as needed.
• Sort and store materials for recycling programs.
• Report damages or needed repairs to supervisor.
