Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking custodial staff for a full-time position with a 261-day, 8-hour work calendar. Pay ranges from $16.13 to $19.24 per hour, plus a $3.50 per hour critical need stipend.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to perform basic cleaning in schools and offices. Internal bids by current JCPS employees are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
• Ability to perform basic commercial cleaning tasks in schools and office buildings.
• Ability to use/operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Effective communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient, quality cleaning (housekeeping) tasks in District buildings under the direction of the supervisor.
• Adheres to established practices, standards and methods for cleaning duties.
